SLATE: The boys are back in town

Welcome to June, K-State fans — although, from the weather in Wildcatland, you’d think it was still April. But this year, June brings something a little extra for college sports fans, and college football fans in particular. Because, for the first time since March 2019, football recruits are allowed on-campus for official visits (and “official” unofficial visits) and camps.

So June 1st brought a bevy of visitors to Manhattan and K-State, both of the unofficial and official type. Specifically several prized 2023 recruits, including Avery Johnson (QB, Maize, KS) and Dylan Edwards (RB, Derby, KS).
