SLATE: Taylor Receives Extension

We start things off today with the big news from yesterday. As announced by K-State President Richard Myers and the Kansas State Athletics, Inc., Board of Directors, K-State Athletic Director Gene Taylor has received a contract extension and a raise. Taylor was originally hired in 2017 with a $450k salary an contract that called for regular raises of $50k per year, and this new contract, which extends Taylor through June 30th, 2027 bumps his 2021-22 salary from the schedule $650k up to $925k, and includes retention and performance bonuses.
