Slate: One in, one out

Bruce Weber already had a start-studded 2020 recruiting class developed, but that got even better yesterday when Selton Miguel, a 4-star, 6’4” 195lb wing/small forward out of Flordia, gave his verbal pledge to the Wildcats. K-State beat Western Kentucky (who is no slouch on the basketball recruiting trail) and South Florida, among others for the Floridian’s services.

Football

Chris Klieman’s program received some bad news yesterday, when RS-Freshman QB John Holcombe II announced that he was leaving the Wildcat program and entering the transfer portal immediately. This is a tough blow for the Wildcats, as Holcombe had seen action in three of the four Wildcats contests to start the season, including significant action in the second half against Oklahoma State at both QB and TE/WR.
