The Big 12 Conference released their All-Conference teams yesterday, and Mike McGuirl nabbed a spot on the Honorable Mention list. Notably absent from the All-Freshman list was Nijel Pack, who was bumped out in favor of West Virginia’s Jalen Bridges (a redshirt-freshman and WVU’s maybe 5th-best player). At least this might give Pack a bit more motivation to show up fellow freshman Mike Miles of TCU tomorrow when the Cats return to action for the first game of the Big 12 Tournament, which tips just after 5:30pm CT on ESPN.
