Luke Thompson and Eric Rubottom brought us a discussion of the Baylor Bears’ late season resurgence with Matt Wilson of Our Daily Bears. They issued grades, and might have been a little more lenient than some of you.
Since the women’s regular season complete, it’s time to hand out honors. Three members of Jeff Mittie’s team earned all-conference accolades, with senior guard Kayla Goth named to the second team, sophomore post Peyton Williams garnering honorable mention, and freshman wing Rachel Ranke grabbing Big-12 All-Freshman honors.
Ranke double-dipped on the good news, winning the weekly freshman award for the third time this season, after averaging 22.
