Good news Wildcats fans. Only 3(!) Saturday’s left until college football returns. Let that sink in for a moment.
Wildcat reciever D.J. Render’s experiment as a safety this spring is now a permanent move. The move will give Render a better opportunity to earn playing time this fall.
One area of weakness that appears to have been shored up is running back. With the additions of graduate transfers Jordon Brown and James Gilbert plus the added depth of some freshman recruits the once worrisome running back corp now has plenty of options for coach Chris Klieman to choose from.
