SLATE: Baylor hit with COVID ahead of Kansas State series

Baylor has had a lot of issues with COVID this year, and the virus has come knocking again. This time, the victim is the baseball team. That’s both good and bad news for Kansas State, who is due to play the Bears in a three-game series in Waco starting tonight at 6:30.

The bad news is that K-State is walking into the virus. The good? Baylor is missing a bunch of players, including their ace and usual Friday starter Tyler Thomas. As the Wildcats, currently on a six-game winning streak, really need to keep rolling to get themselves onto the NCAA bubble, a shorthanded Baylor squad could prove quite helpful.
