K-State rs-freshman forward Ayoka Lee continues her charge to re-write the record books, adding her 11th overall Big 12 Freshman of the Week honor, and 6th straight. Yeah, that’s right, Lee has commanded the award for over a month now, in the heart of Big 12 play no less. And that’s not the only record she set last week. Lee tallied double-doubles in both of last week’s game, extending her current double-double streak to five games which ties the school record for consecutive double-double performances (joining Knedra Wecker and Nichole Ohlde). Plus, her rebound total for the season now sits at 282, which is now the freshman record for a single season (breaking Kendra Wecker’s mark of 264).
