Rowing returns to competition after nearly three-week break

Almost three weeks removed from a positive performance at the San Diego Crew Classic on March 28-29, K-State women’s rowing returns to action this weekend, this time in Oak Ridge, Tennessee for the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championship Regatta.

The Wildcats will send five boats to the meet to compete in four different races beginning on Saturday: Women’s Varsity 8, Women’s Junior Varsity 8, Women’s Varsity 4 and Women’s Novice 8.

Melton Hill Lake, where the competition is held, is also the site of the Big 12 Championship, which is set to take place on May 16-17.
