Former Kansas State quarterback Daniel Sams was arrested Saturday in connection to a home invasion where a man was killed in Lake Charles, La., according to a report by the American Press.
The newspaper reports Sams has been charged with accessory after the fact to armed robbery, accessory after the fact to home invasion, accessory after the fact to attempted first-degree murder and accessory after the fact to second-degree murder. His bond was set at $200,000.
The arrest was made following a home invasion on Aug. 12 in Lake Charles, where a former McNeese State defensive back, Aaron Sam, was fatally shot.
