There’s no getting around it: last week’s K-State Invitational was very nearly an unmitigated disaster for the Wildcats. For the first time in program history, K-State opened their home schedule with three straight defeats, a stunning setback for a team which has made three consecutive NCAA tournament appearances.
Tonight at 7pm CT, in the second match of the Georgia Tech Invitational at O’Keefe Gymnasium, the Cats (2-4, 0-0 Big 12) will try and get back on track against the North Florida Ospreys (4-3, 0-0 Atlantic Sun). The event opens with a 5pm match between the host Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (2-5, 0-0 ACC) and the Xavier Musketeers (4-3, 0-0 Big East).
