OSU comes back as K-State stumbles

A celebration was in order for Oklahoma State Saturday night.

The Cowboys had just pulled off an improbable 43-37 comeback win over Kansas State, and the party was on inside the locker room at Bill Snyder Family Stadium. A closed door shielded the Cowboys’ indistinguishable cries of jubilee from the waiting press a room away, but not very well.

The man responsible was Mason Rudolph, Oklahoma State’s junior quarterback who racked up 457 yards and five touchdowns on the Wildcats.

The winning score was a 17-yard rush from Chris Carson, but just a drive earlier in the fourth frame, Rudolph found a streaking James Washington for 82 yards and a touchdown.
