Let’s just rip the Band-Aid right off.
The football news is not good. Wide receiver Hunter Rison was arrested Friday afternoon on domestic battery charges. This morning, Chris Klieman announced that Rison has been indefinitely suspended from the team for alleged violation of team and departmental policy. Although Klieman did not mention the arrest, he did add:
Our program will be one that is built on hard work and integrity and doing things the right way. We have extremely high expectations for our players on and off the field.
This is an unfortunate turn of events for the team and for Rison, who Klieman recently described as having “a world of ability.
