It was another Saturday to forget on the hardwood for Kansas State. The men’s team, taking on #7 Texas Tech at home, managed to keep things close in the first half, but the Red Raiders 13-1 run to start the second half put paid to any chances of an upset by the Wildcats. Ultimately, Texas Tech was just too strong, and beat Kansas State 66-47.
This was league-leading Texas Tech’s first win at Bramlage in eight tries, and the first season sweep for the Red Raiders since the league went to a round-robin format in 2013.
