Local sports briefs for Jan. 15: K-State women to face TCU in annual 'Pack the House' game

The Kansas State women’s basketball team will go for its second straight win in the annual “Pack the House” game Saturday at Bramlage Coliseum.

K-State (11-5, 1-4 Big 12) faces TCU (11-5, 3-2) at 7 p.m., with all tickets and select concession items priced at $1.

The Wildcats picked up their first Big 12 victory Wednesday, beating Oklahoma State 47-44.

K-STATE’S GRONKOWSKI ACCEPTS SENIOR BOWL INVITE:Kansas State fullback Glenn Gronkowski has accepted an invitation to play in the Senior Bowl on Jan. 30 in Mobile, Ala.

Gronkowski announced after the Wildcats’ game in Liberty Bowl he would forgo his senior year to enter the NFL Draft.
