The man accused of fatally shooting a former Kansas State football player outside a Cleveland nightclub has pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter.
Cleveland.com reported 32-year-old Barry Blevins entered the plea Monday in the October 2014 slaying of 26-year-old David Garrett. The case was scheduled to go to trial Monday morning.
Authorities said Garrett was struck in the chest when Blevins fired into a crowd after a fight that began in a nightclub spilled outside.
