MANHATTAN — The Kansas State women's basketball team will be without freshman Lanie Page for the 2015-16 season due to an injury.
K-State officials confirmed Tuesday that Page, a 6-foot-3 forward from Wamego, will redshirt due to a shoulder injury sustained during her senior year of high school. Page was a two-time Topeka Capital-Journal All-State selection, averaging 16.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 3.0 steals and 2.8 blocks during her senior season.
Page originally signed a letter of intent with Nebraska but was released and signed with K-State after her sister, Kylee, transferred from Nebraska to K-State.
