There’s liable to be some fireworks in Manhattan today. And not just because it’s Fort Riley Day.
The Wildcats may need to mimic their army buddies to win this game, and should be able to keep this fight on the ground. The rushing attack’s back-to-four-headed monster has the potential for a big game this afternoon, and if they can keep the lines moving then they can keep the Cowboys grounded. But K-State will need some artillery support to keep the Cowboy defense honest. If Jesse Ertz can continue to show his improvement in the passing game then the Cats rushing attack can be that much more potent.
