Well, unfortunately your Kansas State Wildcats will not repeat their appearance at the Big 12 Championship game this season. With wins by Texas and Oklahoma yesterday, and Oklahoma State welcoming in BYU today, there are no scenarios left where K-State can make it to Arlington this season.
But that doesn’t mean that there’s nothing to play for tonight.
The Wildcats have already secured their fourth 8+ win season in Chris Klieman’s five years in Manhattan, but have the opportunity for back-to-back 9+ win seasons for the first time since 2011-2012, and possibly 10+ with the bowl game.
