Kansas State falls to Texas 71-70

MANHATTAN

It’s easy to see why Texas hands the ball to Isaiah Taylor when it needs clutch points.

Taylor, a junior guard, was a monster for the Longhorns during a 71-70 victory against Kansas State on Monday at Bramlage Coliseum, making one enormous play after the next on his way to 19 points.

While No. 25 Texas knew where to go in important moments, K-State had no clue. Seemingly everyone that touched the ball on clutch possessions hesitated. That was most evident on the final possession when the Wildcats had an opportunity to win at the buzzer.
