MANHATTAN — In addition to the usual preseason preparations that Kansas State volleyball coach Suzie Fritz will have to make in order to get her team ready for their tough nonconference schedule, she will also have to overcome a rarity for her program — having no seniors on her roster.
Fritz, the winningest coach in program history who is entering her 15th season at the helm of the program, will see just her second roster that doesn’t feature a senior. The last time it happened was in 2011, a season in which the Wildcats made the Regional Semifinals of the NCAA tournament for only the third time in program history.
