K-State through to Big 12 Tourney semifinals

Unless you’ve been living under some sort of gigantic boulder-shaped object for the last week, you know the Phillips 66 Big 12 Tournament is underway. Yesterday, top seed Kansas State beat TCU 70-61 to advance to the semifinals. The 15th-ranked Wildcats will now play Iowa State (21-11) at 6 PM tonight for a spot in the championship game.

The Wildcats have now won 25 games, the seventh time in program history the team has reached that total.

The win owed a lot to Xavier Sneed, who led the team with 19 points, 16 of them in the second half (Corbin McGuire, K-State Sports).
