K-State QB Jesse Ertz out for season with knee injury | The Wichita Eagle

Kansas State football fans can stop wondering about the status of Jesse Ertz.

The senior quarterback will miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury, Wildcats coach Bill Snyder said Tuesday at his weekly news conference.

“He is going to have some surgery on it,” Snyder said. “So he is out for the season.”

Ertz was the starter in K-State’s first five games, but he has not played since he exited a road loss to Texas on Oct. 7. He has missed the past six games and did not travel with the team to Oklahoma State last week.
