As a senior in high school last year, Kansas State forward Eternati Willock dreamed of playing against UConn.
She just didn’t think it would happen so soon.
The No. 1 Huskies bring their 83-game win streak into Bramlage Coliseum to face K-State on Sunday. Tipoff for the sold-out contest is at 1 p.m.
“It is a big challenge,” Willock said. “But I’m not too worried about that, I’m just worried about going out there and playing our hardest and keeping our team engaged and knowing what we can do instead of what they can do.”
Head coach Jeff Mittie said the Wilcats will have to be poised, much like they were against NC State or Auburn.
