K-State linebacker DaQuan Patton arrested for unpaid speeding ticket in Manhattan

Kansas State linebacker DaQuan Patton was arrested for failure to appear Sunday evening in Manhattan.

Riley County police arrested Patton at 6:08 p.m. at a convenience store in the 1100 block of Bluemont Avenue. He was released after paying his bond of $1,000.

The charge stemmed from a warrant against Patton in Manhattan Municipal Court for an unpaid speeding ticket, according to Riley County Police Department spokesperson Hali Rowland.

A spokesman for the K-State football team did not immediately respond to a message seeking comment.
