Xavier Sneed will test the professional basketball waters before deciding whether to return to Kansas State as a senior.
Sneed, a 6-foot-5 junior swingman, has declared for the NBA draft as an early entrant, according to a K-State basketball official.
Odds are good Sneed will ultimately return to the Wildcats for his final year of college basketball, but he wants to receive feedback from NBA scouts and experience pro workouts before making a final decision.
This is the third straight year a K-State basketball player has submitted his name for the NBA draft early.
