The game: The Wildcats (5-4, 3-3 Big 12) hit the road to face the Baylor Bears (6-3, 3-3 Big 12) in Waco. K-State enters the game having lost its latest game to Oklahoma State two weeks ago, coughing up a lead in the fourth quarter. Meanwhile, Baylor has lost its last three games, including the last two in convincing fashion, and the Bears lost starting quarterback Seth Russell to injury last week against the Sooners. That puts freshman Zach Smith at the helm for Baylor. The Bears have been a thorn in K-State’s side in recent years, winning the last four games in the series, as well as the last four in Waco.
