There’s really not a lot to say about the first half of this afternoon’s edition of Farmageddon, which Kansas State leads over Iowa State 7-6.
K-State scored a touchdown on a 3-yard Skylar Thompson run following a big punt return by Dominique Heath, and the Wildcat defense forced Cyclones to settle for field goals on the two occasions in which they ventured into the Wildcat red zone.
Both teams have played good defense, although the Cats have made more small mistakes. Iowa State has been penalized a lot. K-State is having trouble running against a Cyclone defense which doesn’t respect the Wildcat receivers.
