For the first 17 minutes on Tuesday things were as stale as they get between Kansas State and Prairie View A&M.
The Wildcats found their flow from the perimeter late in the first half, and didn’t let up in the opening minutes of the second half in a 74-55 win over the Panthers.
The win gave K-State coach Bruce Weber his 400th career victory.
K-State had just given up the lead in the first half when it’s 3-point barrage began. After leading throughout the first half, the Wildcats let Prairie View knock down a 3 of its own to go ahead 24-23 with 2:52 left in the first half.
