Catching up with former Wildcat Gerald Alphin

Today, Alphin is the CEO of Hope Nonviolence Foundation and works to carry on the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. He spends most of his spare time mentoring youth in the Atlanta area with the Six Principles of Nonviolence. He also works for the Department of Transportation as an inspector.
Alphin and his wife Jeannette have three adult sons and five grandkids.

Though there wasn’t much of a reason to celebrate Kansas State football in the 1980s, many might remember Gerald Alphin. The soft-handed receiver played for the Wildcats from 1982-85 and went to star in the Canadian Football League.
