It’s still early, but Barry Brown is far from having a sophomore slump.
Brown led Kansas State men’s basketball team with 18 points in the Wildcats’ season opener against Western Illinois on Friday night.
The guard also notched double figures in both exhibition games, recording 17 points against Pittsburg State and 15 against Washburn.
Brown saw action in all 33 games last year, averaging 8.6 points per game.
He was named to the Big 12 All Newcomer Team to cap off his freshman campaign.
Now he’s back for more.
“I feel like I’m improving, yeah definitely, after my freshman year,” Brown said.
