First time co-host AMS and I both skipped the mostly worthless Spring Game, so we brought on K-State Collegian sports editor DeAundra Allen to tell us all about how it solved the quarterback situation and predict who will be the breakout stars for next season based on a glorified scrimmage. Really, though, we tried to take a reasonable approach in discussing who will be relied on the most next spring, and what might change with new offensive coordinators and several new faces on defense.
We also discussed Ian Boyd’s excellent article on K-State’s quarterback run game and whether there’s a viable path forward for the Wildcats without it being such a critical part of the offense, as well as what the new kickoff rules might mean for Kansas State.
