Mitchell Link Lochbihler (b. Jan. 6, 1995) is a young punter with a powerful, but erratic leg who benefited from a redshirt season in 2013, although not enough to keep the starting job. He will compete for starting duties in 2015.
He saw action in three games last season, punting twice for a 38.0-yard average. Considering I thought he would be the wire-to-wire starter, it has to be categorized as a disappointing season, but it was to Nick Walsh's benefit.
