Andrew Metzger (b. Sept. 27, 2004) is a young tight end from the Denver suburb of Aurora who is equally skilled at catching in traffic, blocking, and running routes and who plans on majoring in business administration. He is likely to redshirt in 2023 after missing this spring.
A three-year letter-winner under head coach Danny Filleman at Regis Jesuit High School, Metzger was rated the 34th-best tight end (Y position) nationally in the Class of 2023 by ESPN, while 247Sports views him as the eighth-best overall prospect in Colorado.
He was named to the 2022 All-Colorado team by The Denver Post, while he was an all-state performer by CHSAANow.
