Don't be fooled by his name — David Cody Small (b. Sept. 16, 1993) is anything but small. A talented young tight end who served as the primary back-up in 2014, Small will compete for the starting nod at tight end in 2015.
Small originally signed with K-State out of high school in 2012, but spent that fall as a part-time student paying his own way — also known as a "grayshirt."
He collected one tackle in the 2013 spring game after an interception.
