67 DAYS TO 2019 KICKOFF: Shane Cherry

Shane D. Cherry (b. Dec. 26, 1999) is a young, promising offensive lineman from Grandview High School, located in the Kansas City (Mo.) metro area. He grayshirted in 2018, delaying his enrollment until this spring, and is likely to redshirt in 2019 as he continues to develop.

A three-year letter-winner for the Bulldogs under head coach Jeremie Picard, Cherry was rated the 18th-best player in the state of Missouri for the Class of 2018 by ESPN.

He earned all-conference and all-district honors during his career, and was a high school teammate of a fellow Wildcat, defensive end Cartez Crook-Jones.
