Spencer Landon Trussell (b. Oct. 18, 1998) is a promising weakside defensive end prospect from Martin High School in Arlington, Texas. I fully expect him to redshirt this season.
Trussell lettered three years for the Warriors under head coach Bob Wager. He was viewed as the 79th-best defensive end in the nation for the Class of 2018 by ESPN and was named a finalist for the Dallas-Fort Worth Defensive Player of the Year award.
Trussell totaled 59 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, three sacks, two blocked field goals and a blocked punt as a senior in 2017, when he helped Martin High to advance to the regional round of the Texas Class 6A D1 state playoffs.
