Jhet Robert Burkhart (b. March 25, 2000) is a walk-on linebacker from Buhler High School who redshirted in 2018. His parents, Mike and Shelbi Burkhart, both attended K-State.
A four-year letter-winner at Buhler under head coach Steve Warner, Jhet Burkhart picked up all-state honors from the Kansas Football Coaches Association (KFBCA) as a senior in 2017 after recording 116 tackles and two interceptions.
He also earned honorable mention all-state honors from The Topeka Capital-Journal and The Wichita Eagle after leading the Crusaders to three straight league championships, while they were the state runner-up in 2016 following an 11-2 season.
