27 DAYS TO 2019 KICKOFF: Cameron Key

Cameron Carlton Key (b. Dec. 7, 1999) is a walk-on defensive back from Bishop Miege High School in Overland Park who plans on majoring in physics.

He redshirted in 2018 and earned the program’s Overachiever Award as the top freshman in strength and conditioning. While I project Key as a scout team member, he may play some.

A three-year letter-winner at Bishop Miege under head coach Jon Holmes, Key was named a 2017 first-team all-state performer by the Kansas Football Coaches Association, The Topeka Capital-Journal and The Wichita Eagle, which also named him honorable mention in 2016.
