The Kansas State Wildcats Men's basketball team, who finished with a record of 20-12 this season, will be a #9 seed in the Midwest Region in the 2014 NCAA Tournament. The Wildcats will play on Friday and face #8 seed Kentucky.
Kentucky finished 24-10 this season and were preseason #1 to start the year.
The KSU Wildcats were a #4 seed in 2013 but lost 63-61 to La Salle in their opening game.
