Two members of David Beaty’s coaching staff will not be with the Kansas football team next season.

Michael Slater, the team’s defensive line coach, and Je’Nay Jackson, the director of football strength and conditioning, are no longer with the program, Beaty announced in a Monday news release.

Jackson is “making a career change in an effort to spend time with his family,” according to the news release, while Slater did not have his contract renewed.
