The good, the great, and the okay from Kansas' week zero victory over Fresno State

Yesterday marked Kansas' first win of the 2025 campaign with a massive 31-7 win over Mountain West team Fresno State.

While the Bulldogs did cause the Jayhawks the odd problem in the first quarter, by the time Kansas marched into the locker room with a 24-7 lead, the game looked settled.

The title of this series will vary depending on the performance. As games are dropped or improved upon, then the title will change.

The Good: Kansas' defense

While at times E.J. Warner threatened Kansas and ended up converting a few big passing plays, ultimately Kansas knew that when applying pressure towards Warner, (the son of NFL Hall of Famer Kurt Warner), then the former Rice and Temple quarter back would get a lot more shaky, which he did.
