Postgame: Kansas football fights but comes up short vs. Iowa State

Kansas football came into this game against Iowa State as a 25.5 point underdog (odds courtesy of The Action Network). All things considered, the Jayhawks held their own and didn’t look too bad on the road against the ranked Cyclones.

The Kansas defense played better than expected, not great, but good enough to win the game. Iowa State quarterback Brock Purdy finished with 372 yards, four touchdowns, and an interception.

Cyclones running back Breece Hall 97 yards and a touchdown on the afternoon, while receiver La’Michael Pettway caught two touchdown passes.
