No one expected the Kansas Jayhawks to be competitive against the Oklahoma Sooners today, but for most of the first half, it looked like the Kansas defense would be able to do just that.
With about two minutes left in the first half, the KU defense only had allowed a total of 60 yards rushing and 51 yards passing. They were down only 14-3 and were about to get the ball back after a punt that started them in Oklahoma territory. But after a quick three and out, the Oklahoma offense sprung to life, picking the Kansas defense apart.
