It looks as though Kansas sophomore football tight end James Sosinski officially will be added to the Jayhawks basketball roster before Wednesday night’s game against Washington at the Sprint Center.
“I’m going to watch him practice today and tomorrow. If he does well we’re going to … let him suit up and be on the bench on Wednesday. And I’m sure he will,” KU coach Bill Self said before Monday’s practice at Allen Fieldhouse.
Sosinski, a 6-foot-7, 260-pound forward who averaged 19.1 points and 12.6 rebounds a game his freshman year at South Mountain (Ariz.) Community College and could bolster a thin KU frontcourt that has just two eligible scholarship players, practiced with the basketball team last Thursday and Friday.
