Thanks for joining us Dean. I know you are new to the KU sports scene. Why did you decide to join the wild world of KU sports?
I decided to get involved with Kansas sports because I’m wanting to get connected with the area. Also, Les Miles coached at LSU for awhile.
Where did you grow up? What was your family like as a kid?
I grew up in a suburb outside of New Orleans in Kenner. My family owned a restaurant called La Maisonette. They restored an old building about 100 years old.
