A Yahoo Sports report links Apples Jones, the mother of former Kansas basketball player and 2017 NBA first-round draft pick Josh Jackson, to loans provided by agent Andy Miller of ASM Sports Agency.
The story, released Friday morning by Pete Thamel and Pat Forde, cited documentation from discovery of the federal investigation into college basketball and related criminal lawsuits. In addition, the story said from the information gathered that there are “potential impermissible benefits and preferential treatment for players and families of players at Duke, North Carolina, Texas, Kentucky, Michigan State, USC, Alabama and a host of other schools.
