When Kansas dismantled Wagner last week in what was a 46-7 win for the Jayhawks, one of the biggest talking points wasn’t in between the sticks; rather, the absence of linebacker Bangally Kamara, who did not feature at all.
Post-match, when speaking to the press, Kansas head coach Lance Leipold spoke with the media about Kamara
“Bangally suffered a non-contact injury in Thursday's practice, and his status will be unknown for a while.”
Not a promising report in any way, shape, or form to follow that up. On Monday, during Leipold’s obligatory weekly media, the former Buffalo coach followed up.
