Landen Lucas is among the most intelligent players ever to wear Kansas basketball uniform. Few would argue with his brains or work ethic. At times, it might have been difficult to watch him. On the other hand, nobody did the little things Lucas did to help Bill Self win and win some more.
As a matter of fact, Kansas doesn’t come from behind and beat West Virginia without some intelligent play by Lucas. I’ve watched a replay of that final 5-minutes more than once. Lucas’ play is amazing. He finds a way to win. All the Jayhawks did that night.
