KU’s road winning streak skids to a halt with 85-80 loss at Oklahoma

Trae Young and the Oklahoma Sooners put an end to Kansas’ impressive 10-game road winning streak on Tuesday night at Lloyd Noble Center.

The fabulous freshman from Norman scored 26 points and dished out nine assists — and the Sooners used a “Hack-A-Doke” strategy in the final moments to perfection — as the Sooners downed the Jayhawks 85-80. KU also saw its road winning streak in league games stop at eight.

Svi Mykhailiuk scored 24 points and Malik Newman added 20 for KU, which fell to 16-4 overall and 6-2 in the Big 12. Oklahoma improved to 15-4 and 5-3.
